TID GRIFFIN

ICTV1 911 Hero Award

Tid was on his way to work in downtown NYC the morning of September 11th 2001. He was on the Lexington Avenue Subway line when all of a sudden the train stopped between stations and the tunnel filled with dirt, smoke and debris. No-one could see. Tid worked his way out and up to the surface at Fulton Street, saw the mayhem and broke into the Duane Read drugstore to get medical supplies and set up one of the first triage medical help stations. He was truly courageous in his actions and we remember him as he travels in the Far East. Here's some shots from upstate NY.
